Feature-length spin-off of the animated children's show based on the line of toys manufactured by Hasbro. In this sequel, the teenage students of Canterlot High are preparing to do battle against their rivals at Crystal Prep Academy in the upcoming Friendship Games. Sunset Shimmer (voice of Rebecca Shoichet), feeling homesick for Equestria, meets Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong), who is attending Crystal Prep to investigate the magical activity at Canterlot High, but she is also forced to compete for the opposite team.
